One of my (few) complaints about MMN is that we move so quickly I can hardly keep up. Today, let’s STOP and review our missions this year.
On our Fallen Fridays, we honored 230 fallen Active Duty service members and 122 veterans who passed away after they had served our country
Our second cookbook was published in record time with 300 recipes and many great stories. We are already planning the next one!
We attended the inaugural Facebook Communities Summit, one of 100 groups invited (there are 600+ million groups on Facebook)
Approved charity status was achieved with Facebook, Paypal and Ebay.
Our card sent over 25,000 cards to servicemembers, veterans and their families
Operation Christmas Train team sent 271 boxes to deployed troops, as well as several complete tree/decor set ups
Mamas laid wreaths at 68 locations in support of Wreaths Across America
Chapter meetings occurred literally from sea to shining sea, online and in video chats.
Launched our first Elf Project and sponsored 100+ active duty/veteran children for Christmas.
Our webstore sales increased 70% in 2017.
Published our first children’s book, I love Someone Who Serves
And so so much more. We supported new to the military life families, welcomed mamas and men, walked alongside those who grieved and those who celebrated. Join us. It’s been an amazing year, but every year is!
